Work Live Leicestershire
The Work.Live.Leicestershire (WiLL) programme, and CASE's involvement in it, has now ended.
It assisted economically inactive and unemployed people living in rural Leicestershire and provided access to holistic, tailored support, enabling participants to move into job search, training or employment between 2019 and 2023.
Involving 7 organisations; Vista (lead organisation) CASE, b-inspired, Access All Areas Training CIC, Rural Community Council, Voluntary Action Leicestershire, and Workers' Educational Association, we worked together to assist as many participants as possible progress on their chosen paths.
CASE offered a start-up and support service for business to those who wanted to better understand the pros and cons of self-employment and whether they were suited to it. We advised and mentored nearly 60 individuals who now have their own enterprises.

Co-operative Living History Exhibition - July 2021
celebrating the co-operative movement in Leicestershire
With generous support from the Heritage Lottery Fund, CASE has been collecting stories, photos, and objects from people who worked in, or lived with, co-operatives of all types in Leicestershire.
Co-operatives have a rich history and the project celebrated that by telling the stories of their members and communities.
With documentation from organisations such as Equity Shoes and the Ratae Co-operative Players, the exhibition featured over 1000 stories, 2000 photos, video interviews, documentation of co-operative locations and a fantastic restored bread van!!
