Current Projects

CASE currently receives funding to support eligible organisations across Leicestershire and the East Midlands. This means that, in many cases, our advice and support can be accessed free of charge.

We can support:

• Leicestershire-based VCSE (Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise) sector organisations, funded by Leicestershire County Council.
• Co-operatives in the East Midlands, funded by OurCoop. 

Support through these programmes involves working one-to-one with both existing organisations and startups, providing our core services (See ‘What We Offer’ for more detail on what this can include).

Co-operatives UK Business Support

CASE offers development support to co-ops based in the East Midlands through Co-operatives UK’s funded Business Support for Co-ops programmes. 

These programmes can provide up to six days of funded support for organisations looking to Start, Grow or convert an existing business into a co-Op. Types of support we have offered to local co-ops through this programme have included:

• Testing the viability of your Business Model
• Building a Business Plan
• Finding the right co-op model and type for your organisation
• Establishing governance and membership processes

Organisations wishing to take part in the programme apply directly to Co-operatives UK. The process is competitive, and we are happy to support organisations thinking of applying for this support, contact us to discuss.
