What is a Co-operative?

Co-operatives are businesses that are democratically owned and controlled either by the people who work for the business or, in terms of membership co-operatives, the people who use it.

What is a Social Enterprise?

Social Enterprises are local businesses, run by local people, to provide services for local communities. Social Enterprises operate in almost every industry in the UK.

CASE aims to grow the impact of the co-operative and social enterprise economy in the East Midlands by delivering business support as well as developing and offering products and services that meet current and emerging business needs

We are well known and trusted, have decades of experience and can help you to establish an ethical and co-operative ethos within your business

Established in 1982, CASE is itself an employee owned co-operative and has helped establish many other successful co-operatives, social enterprises and community businesses in the East Midlands
