The well established and highly respected National Forest Folk Festival is back for 2015. Taking place from Friday 26th June to Sunday 28th June the event prides itself on being one of the friendliest festivals around and brings together folk fans from across the country for a packed weekend of fun, uplifting folk tunes.
The National Forest Folk Festival is organised and run by The National Forest Folk Club, a co-operative set up with the assistance of CASE in the early 1990s. Unlike others, the National Forest Folk Festival organises its show structure to ensure that performances do not clash, allowing guests to see all acts playing on the day. This year’s headliners include the New Rope String Band on their last tour, an occasion not to be missed! Other performers include the Monster Ceilidh Band, Union Jill, The Shee, Richie McCabe Allstars and Vin Garbutt plus many other fantastic acts.
