A symbol of the late Victorian era, the famous Penny Farthing cycle is now back in production thanks to Leicester based co-operative Cycle Magic who have showcased their penny farthings at numerous events.
This has led to a demand in people wanting to buy and use Penny Farthings, which were last made more than 120 years ago. The cycles became an instant hit with the first batch selling out within days of production. The co-operative has since started production on their second batch.
Alongside building new bikes, Cycle Magic also sell and hire a wide range of bikes, trikes,
tandems and trailers. They specialise in customising bikes for those with disabilities and special needs.
